Hemant Sharma joined this institute with some industrial experience. He is a graduate in Mechanical engineering from the Government College of Engineering Bhilwara in Rajasthan with an Honors. He was a GATE qualifier in 2016. As an undergraduate student, he had undergone a summer internship in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Lucknow in the Department of Avionics where he was working on a project aimed towards stealthy design. He was academically bright throughout his engineering studies and was awarded the ‘OUTSTANDING STUDENT OF THE YEAR2016’ by his college. After successful completion of his degree, he got an opportunity to work with RMC Switchgears in2016 at Jaipur as a design engineer, where he was working on complex modelling and design software. However, he realized that with his sound theoretical concepts in engineering sciences, he needs to master on skill sets required largely in today’s manufacturing industries. He then joined the one-year internship program designed for graduate engineers at Bhartiya Skill Development University after a short stay at his previous industry. The skill training, he received was in diverse machining processes. Later, he took up a career as a trainer in the same school. Hemant enjoys the challenges in working in both conventional and CNC machining pertaining to difficult manufacturing situations and problems. He is also studying for his business management (MBA) specializing in Operations management on a part time enrollment.

Apart from his skills in machining processes, his expertise also lies in product designing and working on different CAD and PLM platforms such as SOLIDWORKS, AUTOCAD, MASTERCAM, SEIMENS NX. He has a certificate-diploma in Product designing from CADD CENTER Jaipur.
