Pranav is an experienced trainer and a manufacturing professional in the School of Manufacturing Skills. He holds a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Mangalayatan University in Aligarh, UP, India and a Masters in Operations Management from Jaipur National University, Rajasthan. During his traineeship in the School of Manufacturing Skills, he had the opportunity to work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems. He has developed few projects on pneumatic controls which include— fully automatic low floor bus door system and automatic working of lever press. He has gathered experience and received training on Electro pneumatics (EP1) on circuit generations of Industrial based automation at SMC Corporation India. Pranav was active in preparing technical dossiers which included drawings, curriculums, qualification packages and standard operating procedures. He was active as a volunteer and a member of the Jury of India Skills 2018 – a national level skill competition organized by Capital Goods Skill Council, India. He had worked on several industrial and academic projects of national and international standards. Pranav organizes and impart ‘On the Job quality’ training to engineers and practitioners from different industries who attend different training programs organized in BSDU.
Pranav is specialized in the field of manufacturing and automation for the production of mechanical parts and providing hands on experience on Computer Numerical Control machines (3 axis- CNC Milling machine and 2 axis- CNC Turning machine). His expertise also includes creating simple automation systems using basic mechanical components such as 3/2 and 5/2 valves, limit switches, actuators, timers and electropneumatic components; preparation and simulation of Circuit Drawings using Fluid Sim software. He is also good at creating ISO programs using CAM (Computer Aided Machining) for Turning and Milling machines and for process optimization— cycle time reduction.
