Late Dr. Rajendra Kumar Joshi and Ursula Joshi formed the ‘Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Foundation’ (JCF) in 2006 in Wilen, Switzerland and started working on bringing the Swiss Dual System of skills training to India.

BSDU follows Swiss Dual System of Vocational Education and Training duly modified to suit Indian Environment and to meet Industry requirements to impart world class skills training to Indian youth.

The Swiss Ambassador to India and Bhutan, His Excellency Dr. Ralf Heckner, visited Bharitya Skill Development University Jaipur. The Ambassador was welcomed by Mr. Jayant Joshi, Chairman RUJCT, the sponsoring body of BSDU Jaipur.

BSDU Jaipur Strategically situated at Mahindra World City, a multi-product Special Economic Zone based on the concept of an "Integrated Business City“. is a venture of the renowned Rajendra and Ursula Joshi Charitable Trust (RUJCT). It is the first Indian University to offer only skill-based programs and has established itself as a leading education provider with prime focus on holistic skills training based on Swiss Dual System using machinery and equipment procured from the best manufacturers all across the globe.
