Kaushal has over 10 years of experience in industries and academics. After graduating from Rajasthan Technical University (RTU) in Mechanical Engineering, he took up his first job in Bangalore, where he worked in the field of erection and commissioning of structural steels for Bangalore Metro Rail projects. Kaushal is currently a trainer in welding and fabrication in the School of Metal Construction Skills. He was active in designing the course curriculum for this school. During his previous job experience, he gathered hands on experience in different industrial welding techniques for large scale fabrication of heavy steel structures. At BSDU, he closely worked with the Swiss Trainers and Project Managers in the past. Having experience working in core Indian companies and knowledge of Swiss standards, he presents a nice synthesis of the two that is required for skill based training. He has also worked as a workshop manager for the event ‘India Skills 2018’ with Capital Goods Skill Council— a subsidiary of Government of India. He is constantly working for imparting quality and economic training in field of welding and fabrication for the students.

Kaushal’s expertise lies in the field of manufacturing of mechanical parts and fabrication. His core competence includes in welding and fabrication, conventional and CNC based machining, process planning & control, CNC turning and milling, part programming, plasma cutting and quality inspection. He also has good command in using design-modelling software like auto cad and solid works for designing simple and complex mechanical parts and components. He is a certified inspector for inspection and testing of welded structures and parts.
