Pranjal is presently working with the BSDU group as a skill trainer with the School of Automotive Skills. After obtaining a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rajasthan Technical University, he worked for a short term as a trainee in Kalisindh Thermal Power Projects. He was passionate to take up real life challenges in mechanical engineering which prompted him to take up a traineeship in BSDU for six months in the field of manufacturing skills. Though his thrust areas of interest were mainly in the automotive industry, machining practices, metal construction and fabrication which are another key segment of Mechanical Engineering. He was also involved in using different sheet metal and welding practices and also solving complex welding problems that arise during fabrication. He is good in materials selection which he gained through his thorough understanding of the technology. He completed his preventive maintenance training of hero two wheeler from HERO CENTER OF EXCELLENCE at BSDU, Jaipur. He also has experience in Mechanical and service section of four wheeler which he gained during training at MAHINDRA and MAHINDRA kalyan motors, Bhankrota, Jaipur. Along with this profile he is also pursuing his M.TECH in Automotive Engineering from BITS, Pilani (WILP) in which he is gaining a lot of experience in futuristic and advanced technologies involved in automotive industry like Advanced driving assistance system, Electric & hybrid Vehicles, Connected Cars, Matlab, Simulink, Amesim, Mechatronics, etc. On the creative side he has interests in Swimming, dramatics art and dancing, playing basketball. He is also a professional yoga trainer.
His specialization relates to the automotive body section, wheel care section, design software’s, quality check, machining techniques, sheet metal construction, and welding. His expertise includes automotive body works, design software, CNC profiling, plasma cutting, precise hand skills, skills to list a few. He is adept in both theory and practical teaching to students.
