B.Voc Lateral Entry Admission at BSDU Jaipur: Eligibility and Admission Process

Bhartiya Skill Development University – BSDU Jaipur is offering a skill-oriented B.Voc degree program in various skill areas. The Bachelor of Vocational Degree program is a 3 Year Degree program with multiple entry and exit options aligned with National Education Policy 2020 for 10+2, ITI, and Diploma Holders.

Bachelor of Vocational (B.Voc.) is a full-fledged Degree program approved by Universities Grants Commission (UGC) and recognized by Universities all over India and abroad. With a B.Voc Degree in a particular skill set (Vocation/Trades), one can apply for a specific skill-based Visa rather than a general work permit for foreign immigration. Closer home, it also means that B.Voc has all the privileges another Degree holder (BA, B.Com, B.Sc., B.E. or MBBS) enjoys, like going for Post-Graduation, taking UPSC, Bank, Railways exam, etc., where basic Degree is a requirement.

The B.Voc course focuses 60% on skill development and 40% on theoretical knowledge to help the student to acquire all the skills required for the domain and prepare them for the job market or entrepreneurial role. The course curriculum is so structured that students will able to get a job opportunity/On-the-job training at the end of each semester.

The offered skill areas for B.Voc Lateral entry with the fee details are furnished below:

Scholarship and Fee Concession

• Students having ≥ 80% marks in the last qualifying examination will be eligible for a Scholarship equivalent to 100% of the Tuition fees.

• Students having < 80% to ≥ 70% marks in the last qualifying examination will be eligible for a Scholarship equivalent to 50% of the Tuition Fee.

• All Female student admitted in the session 2021-22 eligible for 25% Tuition Fee Concession

• All student admitted trhough early decesion track in the session 2021-22 eligible for 25% Tuition Fee Concession.

• 25% Tuition Fee Concessions for Defence Personnel (Serving and Retired)

• 25% Tuition Fee Concessions for Socio-cultural identities (such as SC, ST, OBC) and differently abled students

• 25% Tuition Fee Concessions for Economically Weaker Sections

• 25% concession in Tuition fees BSDU students joining next Higher Degree in the University

• 50% concession in Tuition fees for University Employees and their Wards.

• A student admitted without any Scholarship at the time of Admission may be awarded an Academic Scholarship of 25% of Tuition Fees for one academic year if he/she earns a CGPA of 8 and above at the end of an academic year

Eligibility Criteria

Direct Admission to B.Voc 2nd Year (3rd Semester) for candidates with minimum specified qualifications.

• 1 Year Diploma – After 12th
• 3 Year Diploma – After 10th
